Don Ford »

The voice and mastermind of Bettie Ford.
No song without his influence, no break without his approval. A real band dictator, that thinks only the best is enough, but he is also the reason why your head and your leg are nodding when you're listening to Bettie Ford.

3 questions to Don:

What exactly does "Bettie Ford" mean to you?
Bettie Ford is the proof for me that rock is still alive. It's like a relationship. You got your highs and lows, your pain and joy, but you always know, that it's exactly what you want and that you wouldn't change it for anything in the world, because you would just feel totally empty without it.

Where is your favorite touring area?
Everywhere, it doesn't matter. The main thing is that I am on stage, got a good sound and I can break all hell loose (i.e. me). The feeling and the energy that surge through me while I am on stage can only be topped by very, very good sex. Besides, I never know where we are, I always have to ask Silver for that kind of stuff. Just put me in front of my mic and all's well.

Why are you completely clean?
To be honest, I never had the urge nor needed it. I don't need alcohol, cigs or drugs, well, 'cept coffee maybe. Like I said before, this feeling I got while I am on stage, this rush, this stage of being high, just can't be replaced by something like alcohol or drugs. Besides, who would take care of my little lambs when I am drunk, now that Gitz-O-War has retired?

About Silver:
He's our manager. A top salesman for a rockband and I mean that in the best kind of way. If one get's it done, its Silver.

About Rock:
When he wears his tigerslip, I know it's gonna be a great gig.

About Brat:
Awesome. A machine at the drums. Drinks Jägermeister and Becks. Even more awesome. Should maybe drink some more. Maybe, just maybe, he'd get the timing right then...
