Dear friends and heavies,

the official aftershow party of Gitz-o-Wars farewell gig at the 9th of dec will be from half past twelve on at the Sonic Ballroom, colognes punkrock pub number one. There we can celebrate Gitz and ourselves till into the small oures.

As is generally known, egg liqueur is our band drink. So every one of you will get one of these delicious starters for free.

With Havanna Pussy Club and Generation Breakdown we're happy to have two very amazing bands, which will open the show in december, to kick Gitz-o-Wars ass into rock retirement.

At last we have to say, that we more than looking forward to have a really fuckin good night with all of you guys.

Farewell show Gitz-o-War

 

Dear friends,

a long time intended and advised, now some details about the very last show of Gitz-o-War.

His last concert will be at saturday, the 9th of december at the Underground, cologne. Here we did a lot of shows in the last years for example with Guitar Wolf, Zen Guerilla, Psychopunch or Flaming Sideburns. Together with two friendly bands, some surprises and of course with YOU ALL, the "tall guy" will be kicked in retirement duly at this historical location. In this night you will experience a unique Bettie Ford show which you have never seen before and which never can be repeated in the future.

Today the exact admission is not calculated but it won't cross the border of 10 euros.

And now we hope, that many of you insane and wannebes, which we're met in the last years, will find the way to cologne to see Gitz-o-War live for the very last time before he totally gets into NASA outer space technology, nuclear research and the development of internet itself.

You can pre-order the tickets from october on at the Underground or at the official ticket agencies.

Hasta ahí bien, amigos! More news in the next few days. We're looking forward to an phenomenal evening and night!

Gitz-o-War retires

 

Guitar hero Gitz-o-War takes on his well-deserved retirement.

This decision, which had been under consideration for a long time, was now pushed on because of Gitzes unfortunate injury in the beginning of march, this year. There was, understandably, no more motivation for our "tall guy" to go deep into the sessions for our second album or to face the autumn tour.

Bettie Ford will go on, as you maybe already have seen on one of our shows this year, with the remaining four guys. The gap Gitze leaves in our ranks is too big and he was/is too important for this band that we would, without doubt, never be able to fill it with a replacement.



But of course, we don't let a founding member, this guitar warlock, go away gentle and quiet. Give credit where credit is due. The retirement will be celebrated here, where Gitz-o-War was bound to for eight long years: on stage! With other friends, bands, fans, surprises... The whole big thing is being planned now. We're locating this event for november / december in cologne! When we got something solid you can get every detail here!

Gitze, old friend, we wish you all the fuckin best!

as we had already aannounced, we will enter the Tonstudio 45 in august with producer Kurt Ebelhäuser again, where we will record our new album. To let you be part of the recordings, we're going to write some lines about the production in our diary.
